Five stages across six locations in the city centre

Head Out Not Home returns for its 9th summer, bringing Norwich to life with fantastic music and street entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. Take in free live entertainment whilst exploring Norwich’s excellent array of shops, cafés, bars and restaurants, and get the most out of your summer.
Delivered by Norwich BID and NORCA & Sistema in Norwich, Head Out, Not Home has been an annual feature in the Norwich calendar since 2013 (except for 2020). The event was changed to a Sunday in 2021, and after great feedback it will continue on Sundays for 2022.
There's a great line up for 2022, with music from a wide range of genres, and local, national and international acts. Catch up-and-coming folk trio, The Magpies, cool funky jazz from Grio Trio, or blues from the Shunters Company.
This year you can find the stages on:
Gentleman’s Walk (every week)
St Gregory’s Green (every week)
Westlegate (every week)
Millennium Plain (except for 14 August)
Riverside (except 4 September)
Tombland (only 14 August and 4 September)
Normally there are three sets at each stage, with performance times staggered to allow people to get around the stages and see everything.
Gaspar Nali, one of this year's performers (14 Aug - Gentleman's Walk)
