ARTS PARTICIPATION & ENGAGEMENT
"Dedicated to improving lives and communities through arts and culture"
We believe that the arts are for everyone and should be at the heart of all our lives ... that culture is a living thing, constantly being renewed and created ... that there should be access and opportunity for everyone. It's about getting involved! Be Part of Art!
Skills for Life
Arts participation is a great way of gaining skills. Our work aims to support both professional artistic development and the wider skills and experience that can come of artistic engagement, participation and practice.
Our vision is that Culture and Creativity build communities. Our mission is to positively transform individuals, communities and the spaces they share through community-based, high quality arts engagement and participation.

Join the team!
We're currently recruiting for enthusiastic and friendly Event Volunteers to help with the smooth running of Head Out Not Home 22, Norwich's free summer festival of music and street theatre, now in its 9th season. Commissioned by Norwich BID, Head Out Not Home takes place across the city centre on Sunday afternoons from 24 July to 4 September inclusive.
As a volunteer you will be an integral part of our team, helping us with setting up and stewarding the six HONH stages around Norwich City Centre, supporting and engaging with audiences and evaluation.
In return we can provide volunteers with the opportunity to meet new people, gain work and life experience, make new friends and be part of one of the headline free events in Norwich’s summer events calendar.

NORCA & Sistema in Norwich has been awarded funding from the Arts Council’s Let’s Create Jubilee Fund, to create a new carnival music group for children and young people. We will be launching a new, weekly youth samba band (ages 10+), based at our headquarters on Colegate, which will meet on Saturday afternoons. For more details, click HERE.
Recruiting New Trustees and a new Chair
We continue to seek to develop our board of Trustees. As well as looking for a new Chair, to provide ongoing leadership for the charity, we are looking to more generally add to the skills and experience that is guiding the charity, particularly to find someone with a financial background to better inform our financial decision-making. More details and an application pack are available through the 'Get Involved' page or by clicking HERE.
You can hear one of our Trustees, Karl Jermy, talking about being a Trustee of NORCA & Sistema in Norwich on our new podcast HERE.
