VOLUNTEERING

Volunteers are vital for a charity like us.  They enable us to do more with the resources we have, supporting the delivery of programmes, the running of events, our logistics and administration and, ultimately, the running of the charity itself, through our Board of Trustees.

At NORCA and Sistema in Norwich we value our volunteers and absolutely appreciate every minute they give to help us improve lives and communities through arts and culture. By donating their time, skills, experience and enthusiasm they enhance and enrich our work.

We are always looking for positive and enthusiastic people to help us with our work. Volunteers can learn new skills, gain new experiences, gain confidence, give back to the community, meet people of all ages and from all walks of life, and have fun!

We have an open and ongoing recruitment process, particularly to support the delivery of Sistema in Norwich.  If you are interested in volunteering then please get in touch using the button above.  Cathie Davies, who coordinates our volunteers, will get back to you to arrange a chance to meet, complete an application form and discuss what you are interested in doing.

Any specific volunteer roles we are looking to fill will be detailed below.

Event Volunteers - Head Out Not Home

We're looking for Event Volunteers to help with the running of Head Out Not Home this summer, which will take place from Sunday 11th July to Sunday 5th September (inclusive). Volunteers help with setting up and stewarding the festival stages (either or both roles, depending on availability and interest).

Head Out Not Home will run from 2 to 5pm on each Sunday, with volunteers needed between 12 and 6pm (or part of that time). We ask that volunteers do a minimum of three Sundays for this event.

Please use the CONTACT US link to get in touch about volunteering on the event.

There's more details about Head Out Not Home HERE.

Please note that these positions will only go ahead if the unlocking as part of the Government's Coronavirus roadmap allows the  event to go ahead, which we expect to be confirmed in late June.
